Fundraising Events

By attending and supporting our fundraising events, you play a vital role in sustaining our chorus’s mission and ensuring that the joy of singing continues to resonate far and wide. Your presence and contribution make a tangible difference in our ability to inspire, uplift, and share the gift of harmony with others. Here are just a few of the events we have planned for this year!

Selling Nuts

Northwest Harmony annually sells 1 lb bags of nuts as a fundraiser in the fall. We get bulk nuts from a third party and have a “nut bagging” party to weigh and put them all in bags. We sell all types of nuts including cashews, mixed nuts, walnuts, almonds, pistachios, etc. plus we also sell chocolate covered nuts! This is our largest fundraiser each year and we have a lot of fun being nutty!

Ushering For the Fair

Northwest Harmony members usher for the annual Clark County Fair in August and we get paid to do this! About 10-12 members take tickets and usher people to their seats in the dirt area in front of the main stage each night for 4 nights. Lots of walking and it tends to be dirty/dusty but we get in to the fair for free and get to listen to the performers on stage. Earplugs are recommended!

Wine Tasting

We have not been able to have a wine tasting since 2019 but this year we are having a wine tasting/silent auction event on September 23 at 14 Acres Winery. Tickets will include 6 wine tastings and snacks plus guest can bid on silent auction items at the winery. Northwest Harmony chorus and quartets will sing and entertain during this 2 hour wine tasting. This winery has a lovely patio area with a gazebo
and lawns for guests to chat and sip wine. A great way to spend a Saturday afternoon!
