Attention all talented women who love to sing and harmonize!
Are you ready to join a dynamic sisterhood of voices? Northwest Harmony is a women’s chorus of exceptional women who are passionate about singing a cappella 4-part harmony in the barbershop style – a truly American musical art form!
Whether you’re an experienced singer with extensive musical background or a newcomer who’s always been drawn to the challenge of a cappella singing, our chorus has a place for you! We believe that every voice is unique and important and that, together, we can create compelling music.
The chorus and its quartets perform throughout the year for private and public events; we also compete annually in a regional competition which keeps us focused on refining our singing and performing skills. We encourage and support each singer in their personal growth and improvement on their musical journey.
Our rehearsals are filled with joy, laughter, camaraderie, and passion for the music we create. Don’t pass up our invitation to become a valuable member of this wonderful chorus! Take your place on the risers, sing your heart out, and join us in a musical adventure that will fill your life with harmony, friendship, and unforgettable memories!

Visitors are always welcome to rehearsals…. whether listening or singing along!
First Night Guests
Guests, on the first night, are invited to sing on the risers or they can sit and watch. Our director will ask guests to meet with her for a few minutes to determine which part they would be most comfortable singing.
What to Expect
A typical rehearsal starts with 20 – 30 minutes of warm-ups, both physical and vocal. Chorus members find their place on the risers, guests are given a place to stand near an experienced member who sings the same part. With a guest folder of sheet music in hand, the chorus reviews current repertoire, learns new music, and may split into groups by voice part, called section rehearsals.
There is a short time for announcements regarding upcoming performances, competition, educational opportunities, events, and fundraising projects. The evening closes with a song and the encouragement of guests to visit again.
